Dan Knull and his wife, Lucy, started Pampered Pup in 2005. Dan is a graduate of the Wisconsin School of Professional Pet Grooming where he learned the latest and most advanced techniques in dog grooming.

Over 600 hours of intense hands-on training included instruction on grooming theory, anatomy and physiology of dogs, canine diseases, and practical grooming of over 100 breeds of dogs.

Dan chose a new path after retiring from a 23-year career as a professional paramedic and volunteer EMT with area fire and rescue squads.

A lifelong love of dogs and caring for them led Dan and Lucy to bring a new concept in grooming to their customers.

Ensuring your Pet’s Comfort

Your dog’s safety and comfort is our primary concern.

We’ll talk to you about allergies or pre-existing medical conditions to promote a positive grooming session. We will not demat a seriously matted dog. This is a total contradiction to our stress-free philosophy of grooming.
